Fastest startup strategy...

As with all MMOs and endgame enthusiasts, we know that the real challenges and rewards come from end game content. Some will even go so far as to say that life for a character doesn't begin until you hit max level. I also believe this concept having lived it multiple times over the years. With regard to this, here is the basic list of power gaming behaviors in order of priority that I feel will get players to end game content the fastest. Please provide your own feedback to make this list better or more streamlined/detailed for Destiny. 1) Level fast Whatever you chose to do, be it PVE or PVP or world event or whatever, find the one thing that you can do to level the fastest and grind it hard. Get your clan friends to join you and dedicate yourselves to smashing face in the name of greatness! Do everything you can to make sure you have the highest xp bonus (if applicable) 2) Don't get hung up on any gear that doesn't naturally come to you until you're max level. This tends to be one of the biggest mistakes I see out there. When leveling, you only need enough gear to keep the new challenges from taking too long, including a lot of redundant deaths or a really high time to kill for targets at the same level as you. Leveling efficiently is always more important than gear. 3) Don't be an alt-aholic: This game is amazing and we all are going to want to try out different classes and abilities to find that 'perfect joy' in our experience. When power gaming, this is a distraction. Get your first character to max level, gear them for end game content, then make a new character if you have time. This is important because the most currency, resources, and high value rewards are achieved at max level. 4) When it comes to leveling and gear, don't be bias towards how you get the xp or loot. If PVP is more efficient and your goal is to level, then you'll be grinding battle grounds and arenas until your eyes bleed. If the end game content is hard to achieve or there's a low drop rate, look at what is offered in PVP gear and see if it might be better than what you have. The Vanguard vendor will also be a good place to check.
