Destiny the taken king

Need help deciding , I heard that the dlc on ps3 will transfer to ps4 if digitally bought from the store. I was wondering if I should buy the dlc separate (the taking king and dark below) or get the legendary edition. Will the legendary edition transfer to the ps4?
