Three of coins?

5 RepliesOK new one on Mars do two ultras and on the third one use a coin I've had an exotic drop every time the last three days. Tell me if it works. Kind of interesting. :-)

I used about 30 on the ultra knight in the dreadnaught rotating my hunter/Titan and received 4 exotics engrams, 2 chest, 2 specials so far, haven't opened them yet but you can solo and it only takes about 10 min to clear everything.

1 ReplyOK after a bit of research (grinding heroic strikes) if you use 1 coin just before a ultra encounter you should get an exotic drop after every 5 to 7 strikes. But I must warn you don't be too disappointed you will get an awful lot of dupicate items. I have 3 invectives 3 telso fusion rifles 5 crest of alfa Lupi. Thanks for all the advice ppl. Back off to grind for a zarlo supercell joy 😐

I use them on heroic strikes but havent won crap, takes me like 10 coins to get anything, really starting to suck

If you use it at a time that it won't work it will stay with your guardian until you come up against an ultra it will work on so you don't have to worry about loosing it. If you are unsure it is best to consume it then to not.

1 ReplyAny encounter with an Ultra (a major woth a unique name) just make sure to pop a Three of Coins before you kill it. In strikes and story missions with two or more ultras you CAN pop multiple coins, but it may not be as effective. Using the coins in raid, pop one for Warpriest, Golgorath, and the Shade of Oryx. Hope this helped.
