How much time is needed
How much time is needed for someone to do a raid for the first time? Is VOG easier than Crota? Is a microphone always a necessity? Any answers would be great?!

Depends on the fire team you get and the raid experience those members have on how long it will take. The crota is by far the easiest and shortest one to do time wise. It should be under an hour on the hard level if all members know what to do and have good gear. Myself and 2 other friends have done it in just under 40min with only a 3 man team on hard, but we are very experienced. VOG I would say have at least a hr+ amount of time to run it just on normal.
