3 of coins woes
Been using the coins a bit recently, and been getting pretty lucky with exotic drops.
The problem is I have never received a weapon, only armour, and the kick in the balls is they have all been for different classes!

I just watched the video on 3 of Coins taken at the start of every Strike playlist. I didn't watch the whole video but he was getting excotic drops every 5 strike playlists. I would past links but my Laptop Browser does not want to work with my caped off internet. Youtube has the answers we need.

You can still get excotic drops from a boss checkpoint it's like 1 in 20 3 of coins you get a Excotic drop. There was another video testing 3 of Coins on Strike playlists. I must hunt that video down.

In one hours time I'm buying 3 of Coins. What is the Bungie's teaching on how to use these Coins?

I get drops for my character and also other characters. If you are close to light lvl 300. Then suggest holding the engram in the vault till you hit 301. After you make 301 or higher the exotic engrams have a higher chance to decrypt into 310 exotics and then it doesnt matter if you have it yet you can infuse it to your gear you like. The last 3 exotic engrams I got from coins decrypted to 310 weapons and gear for me.

Same here i now have 2 sets of all the gauntlets for my titan and two alpha Lupe.... Have gotten a couple of weapons on duplicate but cannot seem to be in the cool kids club and get the super cell

Bungie nerfed 3 of coins. Now l never use them. Its interesting that excotics still drop. I bet there all 280 damage too. Correct me if l am wrong?

I seem to get the same weapons and armour but only armour for other characters which I already have. Some how I don't think it's random

I got the hereafter two times in a row last week. I believe bungie succeeded in coding the drops as random... but with just a touch of FU :)
