A few 2.0 things of interest
1 - I miss Dinklege already.
2 - there are 3 kiosks in the vanguard room. One for weapons, 1 for armour, and another one for abandoned quests. You can get the old quests back like house of wolves and the dark below etcetera. Helps with experience I'm sure.
3. The Strangers rifle has been buffed to a legendary. I'm not sure if you can we get it by replaying the quests in the abandoned quests that I mentioned, but I'm going to try it. Before I found the abandon quest I ran through the black garden and did not get a second strangers rifle. Going to try it again though.
4. You can turn in bounties right from the quest screen. No need to go to the tower.
5. Lots of room in the vault!
6. There are lots of new maps in control. Made me a total bullet sponge. Some of them are insane. Cannons that shoot you across the board. Vortexes that teleport you. There is one that is all floating blocks like the vault of glass. It's insane. I wasn't great at crucible to begin with, but I don't think I went above a .5 very many games tonight lol
7. Dance emote kiosk..... By the jukebox!
Overall, I think it is a huge improvement in the game. The interface is much smoother. There are ways to pull up and track bounty objectives and quest objectives in game.
I'm really looking forward to replaying some of the quests and saying what kind of loot drops. I played a bit of crucible tonight, and ran a few missions, but 3:45 a.m. comes early and I have to go to bed.

Something I've noticed which I'm not happy about is the fact that I had my cryptarch almost at level 101 but after update it's now level 99. It's almost backup to level 100 so do I wait till Tuesday or not bearing in mind it's given me nothing so far.

I'm setteling in to the new system. I'm a bit worried that once the campain is done you can never reset it. Also Where is the Board for all the Ghosts that you have unlocked or is it if you delete the Red ghost its gone forever because the woman who gave it to you has had the sack. Where the hell did the Wolf Packs go and Why has Petra stoped giving out Bountys. Why can't you level up to 40 When the level increase was in the year two update, I mean if you got the year two update but not TTK that would mean getting to level 40 is impossible now. The third subclass is not for everyone Either. You own TTK you unlock the 3rd subclass you don't have the dlc then you will never have it. I have Plan C in the vault and one day I could make as many as I wanted and Today it says I need to Redecover it when Plan C is still in my vault. Bungie has said Destiny is not Pay per month to play but you sure can't play anymore like everyone else if you choose not to pay for dlcs so in a round about way we are playing to play. Bungie gave us a collection of free weapons today there all White and there all level 20. Level 20 is so last year, look in the armoury and you will see very soon level 20 weapons will be grossly underpowered. I'm not happy with the speaker as you can't Trade stuff with him to turn it into other stuff anymore. The collection Boards are Great but I lost half of the stuff I deleted to make them show up on the Collection Boards I'm talking Shaders and Emblems that for some Bungie lojic I need to redecover them again. What is the go with the two cryptark guys? The one in the toqwer dose not sell you weapons and armour but the one in the Prision of Elders still does... Why is it I Track quests where you need to collect stuff on plannets and I get to 60% and the Quest is finished. Its as bad as enemys vanishing as soon as you run up to them from time to time. Thank God the Playstation Strikes can be played on Xbox but xbox player Quit when they are about to play these new Strikes. Is year Two a Good dlc? I must say give it time for the dust to settle because right now its looking like all the quests will be compleated and you can never ever play them again and after 1 hours bountys they will all be compleated and then what other then collections there is compleaty nothing for PVE people to do accept go play something else until weekly reset. Is it any wonder people playing destiny droped off to 5 milion. This Year two on its own is just a cleaver reskin of old stuff until you buy TTK and you have to buy it for all the other extras that might get boring in two weeks time. So give year two some time for the dust to settle then pass a judgement on it. That's what I'm doing.

2 RepliesSo I played a ridiculous amount of Destiny yesterday. In fact I passed out in front of the TV with the controller in my hand! Hadn't done that in years. So here's my 2 cents on update 2.0: I'm liking the new ghost voice, only because I'm not constantly reminded of Tyrion Lannister and Game of Thrones. Nolan kinda sounds like the guilty spark from Halo, but he doesn't remind me of Nathan Drake or his other voice work so it feels more unique to Destiny. The quest/bounty tracker interface is great. I was put off a bit with my high level characters, but I started a new Hunter and the progression through the story seems more coherent and streamlined. Plus the subclass quests help with getting your level up a little quicker. Also it seems like the quest are divided among the various vanguard reps in the tower so you have to interact with more members than just your class rep. Before I just ran straight to my warlock rep for the quest missions and ignored everyone else. I can finally get faction gear! I rarely do crucible matches so I never bothered to rank up the factions cause I knew I'd never earn enough crucible marks to buy their armor and weapons. My warlock and titan are pledged to FWC, and my hunter is with New Monarchy. That's if for now. I'm sure they'll be more when taken king drops next week.

1 ReplyBtw I noticed u didn't mention the 2 new shaders that are new content that are for sale at Eva lavanta. You may want to check those out. Also for those that don't know u are going to want to pick up a new blue ghost from speaker. 140 defense to get those light lvls up. If you have the vangaurd addition to destiny you had a red legendary ghost given to you. Well its got a whole tree of perks to unlock but it's only lvl 3 defense. Fear not it has an infuse icon. So once u get the materials just use one of by he blue speaker ghosts to upgrade it.

Stranger Rifle would be useless at level 15 even if it was purple. They need to make Stranger Rifle level 40 if they want people to find it useful in the long run. What I want to know is there any new Plannets in this New DLC?
