Expansion/Alliances

I don't know if anything has happened yet with this but wanted to add my thoughts. #1. I did not join this clan for a tag. I joined for the people to play with. So I will happily hand over my tag if someone else really wants it if I get to stay in the group and have access to the forums. Hope that doesn't hurt any feelings. #2. I am guilty of finding a core group of about 20 around the time I joined and sticking with them and not adding more unless I run into them in game. So I can't really say if anyone else is active or not. #3. Not sure how the alliances work. If both groups get access to each others forums. If so then I like the idea of dividing by region if the numbers work out. To make it easier to find people that are on the same time as you are. #4. No offense to others using consoles not xb1 but they really need there own group. No reason for ps4 guys/gals looking for crota trying to sift through the xb1 people to find players. I'm xb1 so only help I can give a different console player is advice which is a dime a dozen on youtube. We are are all adults here. So I am just laying it out there I do not feel the need for sugar coating. However I do think some reorganizing does need to happen. Just not sure everyone having a tag is the reason I would do it.

Subclan- Dogs crucible version?? Anyone that plays more PvP than PvE? Doesn't mean you can't raid or have to be hardcore at PvP, just shows everyone else that we have a crew of crucible dogs that can fight and grow as a team together in the trenches. My 2 cents for whatever its worth.

I'm admin for a clan that has hit nearly 3000 now . I think it has lost its personal touch by being so big but that may be because it's a younger crowd .

I like being in a smaller clan. I agree with malbyc that it might lose it's touch if it got too big.

I'm curious how the larger clans deal with this issue, meaning I see clans with thousands of people in them surely out of that thousand plus more then just 100 have tags.

Thus may not be the popular choice but I think it's the choice that's the most fair to all involved. You need to scrub the clan and make a B team (so to speak) and a main clan or A team. If we have people who just like to play casually and are not too worried about getting the best gear or achievements, we should put them B team clan. The very active members should remain in the clan and have input on those we bring in. It would not be hard for me to look over my friends list and look at our raids and tell you who the main 25 or so members of the clan are. I think a lot of other people would agree with me on this. I know this will ruffle feathers and may hurt some feelings, but this is the problem you face when building a large group with a member cap. I think if everyone was being honest with themselves, they know what team they belong on. Rezin, you may want to evaluate the clan and decide on some other leadership to help you make the final decision. That's just my opinion though.

Consider that there are 279 clan members, I tend to find a play with only a very small number of those as clan members. There is pro's to the ideas put forward already, I do enjoy playing on line with people from different continents to have clans based on time zones will possibly put an end to that. Then I am only on for short durations at a time but most nights so this restricts my ability to connect with people when I am on line. This is a debate that will stir up some emotions within the clan. If we did go down the line of A team and B team perhaps the B team members could be call pup's??

Can we not have the clan set up on ps4 ps3 or 360? I've noticed a few people asking for help on them platforms... that way it may free up room in this clan for people wanting to join but can't.

Maybe based on timezone? I'm not sure if we need to base it on anything though. New members to the new clan will to be the easiest way I guess. And why not? In the end we will be one clan. One 4 all, all 4 one! Dogs united woohaa! Sorry I let myself go...
