Xbox live

There I was engrossed in the raid when all of a sudden the whole game shut down. I tried everything, xbox shut down, tried smart glass and even switched the router off. I finally checked xbox live on line and there's a notice stating that there is a service alert. don't know about the anyone else but it is becoming tiresome not being able to connect, I bet they don't have this many issues. Rant over.
