  • Mission Statement

    Anyone with an interest in riddling is welcome. 1) Be respectful of others in the group wall. (We'd love it if you respected others outside the wall as well, however.) 2) No LFG or Spam of any kind in the group wall, unless specified by an admin (There should be an LFG post of some sort in the private section of this group's forum. If not, it's coming soon.) 3) We are here for riddling, so try to keep the chat as focused as possible on riddling-related conversation. If the chat is dead, meaningless chatter is okay, just don't clutter the chat with non-riddling things if someone is seeking feedback or the like. 4) If you aren't sure that a riddle will be well-received or you think the riddle may be faulty for whatever reason, ask me (Cadence) or an admin to review it (we have a rep to uphold, can't be shoveling out faulty riddles). I promise we won't guess, and if someone does, I'll kick them myself.

Riddle of The Will (SOLVED)

Got bored so I came up with a short easy riddle. Shouldn't take long for someone to guess it. My will is not my own, or should I say it wasn't. Before the great battle, we were but weapons of destruction. Relentless, heartless, an atrocity. The queen sees us as undeserving of what the city has granted me, and for this reason, I fight. Not for honor, not for the sake of others or not even mine. I fight to fight. If you enjoyed the riddle join Destiny Riddlers for more. Edit 1: Hint 1: Most people have kinda brought it down to a machine. Pay attention to the last line of the riddle Winner: Rapidestfall588 Answer: [spoiler]Lakshimi-2[/spoiler] Explanation [spoiler]The Exo's originally had no consciousness. It wasn't until after twilight gap (the great battle) they were gifted it. Some frames may not have a consciousness, but they are at least self-aware, unlike the frames in the reef, who have no personality or consciousness. The last part is what gives it away. "I fight to fight". The Future War Cult is all about fighting, nothing else[/spoiler]
