  • Mission Statement

    Anyone with an interest in riddling is welcome. 1) Be respectful of others in the group wall. (We'd love it if you respected others outside the wall as well, however.) 2) No LFG or Spam of any kind in the group wall, unless specified by an admin (There should be an LFG post of some sort in the private section of this group's forum. If not, it's coming soon.) 3) We are here for riddling, so try to keep the chat as focused as possible on riddling-related conversation. If the chat is dead, meaningless chatter is okay, just don't clutter the chat with non-riddling things if someone is seeking feedback or the like. 4) If you aren't sure that a riddle will be well-received or you think the riddle may be faulty for whatever reason, ask me (Cadence) or an admin to review it (we have a rep to uphold, can't be shoveling out faulty riddles). I promise we won't guess, and if someone does, I'll kick them myself.

Riddle of Rewarding Struggles

Hopefully this one's not too easy for all of you Riddlers out there! I may ask you for an explanation once you've solved it, but if you can't quite do it, that's ok. I will post an explanation when it's answered. --------------------------------------------------- Who/What am I? Why am I here? For you, guardians. Do you want a reward? You'll have to earn it. Brave the endless wave, and then you shall come to me. Perhaps you shall meet an unstoppable army, and perhaps you shall meet a pitiful attempt. They are waiting, guardian. [i]I[/i] am waiting. But you shall not have your prize for free... [b]Winner:[/b] Steel City1343 [b]Answer:[/b] The Crystal Barrows [b]Explanation:[/b] [spoiler][i]Why am I here? For you, guardians. Do you want a reward? You'll have to earn it.[/i] The Crystal Barrows are present for Guardians, but you need to conquer the Prison to get to it. [i]Brave the endless wave, and then you shall come to me. Perhaps you shall meet an unstoppable army, and perhaps you shall meet a pitiful attempt.[/i] You must fight the endless waves of enemies in the Prison to get to the Barrows. The Prison may be a very difficult challenge or a very easy one. [i]They are waiting, guardian. I am waiting. But you shall not have your prize for free...[/i] The bosses wait in the Prison to extinguish your light, but the Crystal Barrows wait until you kill those agent of the Darkness. But you need a Treasure Key to get good rewards.[/spoiler] --------------------------------------------------- Hints will be added later on if needed. And as always, have fun!
