  • Mission Statement

    Anyone with an interest in riddling is welcome. 1) Be respectful of others in the group wall. (We'd love it if you respected others outside the wall as well, however.) 2) No LFG or Spam of any kind in the group wall, unless specified by an admin (There should be an LFG post of some sort in the private section of this group's forum. If not, it's coming soon.) 3) We are here for riddling, so try to keep the chat as focused as possible on riddling-related conversation. If the chat is dead, meaningless chatter is okay, just don't clutter the chat with non-riddling things if someone is seeking feedback or the like. 4) If you aren't sure that a riddle will be well-received or you think the riddle may be faulty for whatever reason, ask me (Cadence) or an admin to review it (we have a rep to uphold, can't be shoveling out faulty riddles). I promise we won't guess, and if someone does, I'll kick them myself.

Riddle of Gold (SOLVED)

I'm back! It's been a while, but as promised, here's my next riddle: Who/What am I? I am part of something bigger. It changes them to make them more powerful, but disadvantaged, yes? My true state is death, and there I remain. However, when one eye meets another, I awaken. I am a sign of doom, though if you are loyal to our cause, you will be joyful. I used to hunt those of the light, but now I burn with the fury of an ancient killer, ruthless yet not evil. [b]Winner:[/b] Technician7 & ToxicZombie108 [b]Answer:[/b] The eyes of the Celestial Nighthawk [b]Explanation:[/b] [spoiler][i]I am part of something bigger. It changes them to make them more powerful, but disadvantaged, yes?[/i] The eyes are a part of the Celestial Nighthawk helmet, which makes Golden Gun more powerful, but reduces it to one bullet. [i]My true state is death, and there I remain. However, when one eye meets another, I awaken.[/i] The lights are normally off (dead), but they light up when you gaze down a scope, which is arguably an eye on of itself. [i]I am a sign of doom, though if you are loyal to our cause, you will be joyful.[/i] The glowing eyes show that the wearer is aiming down a scope for a more accurate kill. [i]I used to hunt those of the light, but now I burn with the fury of an ancient killer, ruthless yet not evil.[/i] A HoW leak called the helmet the ExoTac Angel Hunter. Now it is known as the Celestial Nighthawk. Hawks are ruthless hunters, yet they are not evil.[/spoiler] [b]If you enjoyed this, make sure to join Destiny Riddlers!
