What do you Think About Thorn? (in Pvp)
I have the thorn bounty and im thinking if i want to do it. its been a pain.

It's OP, and as such you'd put yourself in a more favorable position by using it.

1 ReplyThorn is a crutch. You don't even need to shoot more than once to get them at less than half health and an entire team with thorn on trials is an immediate loss.

1 ReplyI don't mind people using thorn but I hate how everyone uses it. Every trials team has at least one thorn if not all three do and it gets really old really fast.

It's an amazing fun if you have it. I never use it on anything but Trials though. It makes me feel good about myself when I beat a Thorn user with my Red Hand or some scout rifle. Or when I drop him before he even realizes with TLW. ToO I just want to win so yeah Thorn is the only choice.

The thing with thorn is, everyone thinks it's an easy ticket. It's not. The thing most people complain about is the two to the head, and poison right? Well I get hit with thorn all the time, it's not a death sentence. When people are good with thorn they will two shot you sure. But that's not everyone. I just don't see it as a big of a problem as people make it out to be.

People saying they can outshoot thorn are idiots. Why? Because you're not outshooting the gun, you're outshooting the person using the gun -.- Of course there'll be inexperienced people using Thorn who are easy kills BUT veteran FPS players, especially Halo players, will undoubtedly be harder to outshoot with this gun. I don't use Thorn because I feel it is unfair to the other team. You can quickly get 3 head shots on someone because the fire rate is very fast for a semi-handcannon. The range is around par with legendary handcannons but the aim assist that comes with it is much greater. The 4 pulse 7dmg poison also is an easy kill and if you don't kill them with the poison their health is so far down you're suppressing them and giving them the incentive not to poke their head out again so you, and your team, can push in etc etc. Thorn is so versatile in its ranges in an experienced players hands that the player can dominate the game. This is why so many average/inexperienced crucible players cling to it; because the gun's ability itself can boost an average player to be above average.

I use it when needed but I can outshoot it with my last word and bad juju.

If u can't do the bounty, your a scrub. The hardest part is the last part if you were a lower level like I was.
