I really don't want them to. I hate fighting Flood. Plus, the Flood is restricted to the Halo rings and other Forerunner Installations so unless they go to another Halo, I doubt it.

After the firing of the Halo array, all sentient life, including combat forms, were killed, except for the ones one the Forerunner installations.
