Sorry, should have read more clearly, that answer was for pvp. In my defense I did just wake up and haven't had any caffeine yet. In PvE I did use them enough to get the grimoire card, and will occasionally during very specific activities such as using swordbreaker to defend sync plates in VoG if a praetorian gets close. Otherwise, their terrible range prevents them from being a good option a majority of the time.
