I say there are situations as to why a 32 might not be able to run the relic that are reasonable. We need to get rid of this narrow minded thinking here in the forums.

The only way you wouldnt have no idea how to use it is if you just started and you been doing crotas end and never did it at all. But the relic is simple you use two buttons right trigger and left bumper/ grenade button i think most people over think it.

You're such a liberal ;)

Edited by sergeantawesome: 2/9/2015 4:25:27 AMI guess that makes conservatives ignoramuses then is what you are saying? You mistake the ability to think about situations from multiple points of view with something absolutely silly. Liberals and conservatives both lack critical thinking, or at least give that illusion. Keep the politics out of here and keep in mind there is more than one side to every story.
-
You realize I was completely joking right? I was making fun of politics in a friendly way. Not everyone on this forum is a complete dick... Gosh...

Edited by sergeantawesome: 2/9/2015 1:28:50 PMSorry, run into dicks in here constantly it's hard to tell sometimes.
-
Oh well. Maybe you can appreciate my joke a little bit better now :)
-
I do now!
-
Seriously not that hard.. Jump.. RT.. Rinse repeat
-
If you have done it a bunch of times, it's not. If you have only picked it up twice it is.
-
I agree. I've done VOG plenty of times. Never once did I do the relic because there was always someone that was really good at it, and we didn't want to waste time having someone else learn it. Everyone just wants to get the raid done, and succeed at it. Haven't been able to find a group of people that are willing to just let someone new learn it, while they accept fails. I've been happy to be on support/oracle/supplicant killing duty.
-
Just jump and press rt. if you fail say my bad guys. Grab it on are to start. It's a bit easier to do.
-
I have done that. I'll grab it when no one else does, but just found out the other day there is a charge time and shit, cannot just "cleanse" teammates whenever you want.
-
For real. I was always stuck in raid with elite assholes who wouldn't let anyone run relic. Probably someone like op. They turn around and bitch because not everyone gets to hog it up.

Edited by sergeantawesome: 2/9/2015 3:33:17 AMI am in a kind of similar, but the guys I raid with are not elite assholes, quite the opposite actually. They helped me by letting me join them in raids. They know exactly what they are doing and who is doing what. They get it done fast and I have a great time. I try to learn what I can from them and I try to do what I can whenever I can and do what they need me to do. Some of the best dudes I have ever met. Just in the interest of time it's hard to learn how to do the relic because we are all adults and most of them are 7 hours ahead at least. Just got in with a new group though so I'll be doing the relic more often for sure. Already am doing the sword in crota. It's just irritating the post bitching about how these people cannot do this or those people are always doing that and they usually are narrow minded views the OP has of the situation. It usually comes down to "well, if I can do it, everyone else should be able to" and they use their personal life as the only reference.

We all hold 30+ players to a higher standard b/c for those of us that we're around when the first raid came out did. 30's way back when we're like legends, you would kill to get one to help you. It was also way harder to get to 30 b/c RNG kept messing with us. That being said things have understandably changed with the new vendor armor and an utter lack of necessity to play VoG. It seems ridiculous to me to not know VoG by now and I understand people are busy. I don't mind teaching people how to raid, just not on Hard. It's not narrow minded to assume 32's are able to handle themselves properly on a lvl 32 raid. They have twice the power of a 30 with the relic (or weapons in general). In worst case we would have 29's run relic and even they could do it. What has become clearly evident to me is that unlike with VoG, I can no longer assume Max light lvl guardians can handle themselves in a manner they once did. That is truly sad, but it's what the game has become.
