I have consciousness. Therefore, I exist. Anyone else, I can't prove. But the fact is that if I have the sentience which I do, it is impossible for me to not exist. Yes, if I happen to [i]be[/i] a computer program (matrix style being [i]in[/i] a computer program is different), I still exist. In some state, I exist, because I have consciousness. That is the fact. I can decide to comment on this pointless thread, and that means that I exist. However, assuming we live in the world we believe we live in, one where everyone exists, I cannot prove to you that I exist. You cannot prove to me that [i]you[/i] exist. But, whether you be a bored teenager or a figment of my imagination, trust me, I exist.
