Because I practically have to be in melee range to use them which means basically I'm going to get killed the way that mobs swarm in PvE. And then their reload time is shite on top of that. Even the double damage in PvE buff that's coming up probably won't get me to use them. They'd need basically fusion rifle range in PvE for me to get much use out of them.
