I did not notice that, so that's my fault for not reading thoroughly. My apologies. I will sometimes use shotguns in PVE, but I prefer sniper rifles because when paired with a handcannon or scout rifle (my preferred primaries), it allows me to hit targets at any distance. And they're just so much more effective against bosses and majors than shotguns. And being a hunter, I'm something of a glass cannon. Can't take too much punishment so I try not to get within shotgun range.
