Love my Hand Cannons but the change is necessary, they are not supposed to be accurate at such long range. The high impact is to give accurate players the advantage at close to medium range but it should fall off beyond that. This update is going to make the guns perform more like they should which is a good thing in my opinion.

Now all of a sudden the Chirstmas players come and the mechanics of every primary, and two specials have to change. This game has so much broken in terms of raids but yet it's the pvp experience that has no depth(ranks,unlocks,etc.) that is changing the whole mechanics of the game for everyone. If you can aim an iron sight semi auto gun on someone's head at long range three times in a row without taking enough damage your self then you derserve the kill in my opinion

Hand Cannons have always had too much range, just like Shotguns and Pulse Rifles have always been useless in PVE. Pulse Rifles as an example have terrible range and poor damage, this update is a good thing. Hand Cannons will still be great they just won't be OP.
