That's the difficulty I was on when I stopped playing. I actually thought it was easier than DmC 4. I still can't beat the damn frog boss on DmC 4 in Dante must die difficulty...

Heaven or hell difficulty was pretty much easy mode. You run through laying waste to everything with ebony and ivory. Now hell and hell, that's a whole other story...
