That just adds it to your favourites menu. Right? Did to all the other posts I starred.

On iOS when I tap the star it doesn't add it to my favorites. I've starred a bunch of stuff and only 1 thing that I've favorited on the actual website in a desktop browser has shown up in favorite.

Idk about adding to favorites, but all of my recent likes have been via the app and all I did was click the star.
