Spawn trapping is a legit strategy because you can only accomplish it after pushing the opposing team back onto their spawns and having the skill to land headshots on players as they spawn.
If you don't want to be fighting out of your spawn simply stop the other team from progressing.
Have you even watched an mlg halo match ? They spawn trap all the time. I could imagine some of you nerds now getting up while on mainstage to argue with a ref about being cheated from spawn snipes while Walshy, neighbor, ogre twins, pistol a or any pro sat there sniping you as you spawned.
If an entire e sports league doesn't consider it cheating if I were you I would just take their word for it.

Yeah I know what you mean, and if I saw any of those names in a lobby I'd probably cry in a corner :p. I was thinking spawn trapping more of the lines on CoD, where you just fire an LMG at a spawn point, usually resulting in 100+ kill games if the other team doesn't rage quit.

No, cod is a bullshxt money making game I despise and is why I constantly argue with people on this site in hopes that a fps can be more than what cod is.

I agree, CoD has really gone downhill, but Destiny isn't much better the way it is now in my opinion, especially with the way how the super system (demonstrated in this video) and the overabundance of special ammo, but hopefully when inferno comes out it'll be more to my liking :)
