Why MERCURY isn't in the Game
Guys,
Mercury can't be in the game because it's the hottest planet in the solar system. It basically touches the Sun's CMEs and we would all be dead immediately due to radiation and heat. Why do people want to go to a molten rock and fight the vex? These things blow my mind.
Why do people keep saying VENUS is hotter than Mercury? You guys need to learn the order of the planets.

The traveler obviously turned Mercury into an ice world. The sun constantly melts the ice but space magic brings it back making it a nice 75 degrees at all times. With a slight breeze.

It is in the game, pvp map called the burning shrine. Your ship can even hover over it if u go to orbit right after u play on that map.

Unlike on destiny in real life venus is a burning planet with volcanos covering the surface. It is the hottest planet and is basically hell (apart from the fact that due to carbon pressurisation it rains diamonds) But I still want it in destiny

The Traveller terraformed planets. Including Mercury, turning it into a garden world. Venus, giving it a moderate atmosphere. And Mars giving it water and atmosphere.

We have been on mercury though in the crucible. It's called the burning shrine. So yes it's possible for us to go on mercury because we always have. It's called space magic dude space magic.

On Mercury temperature will vary from -170°C up to +420°C approximately during the day/night. On Venus the temperature is pretty much +465°C all the time. You need to learn that closer to the Sun doesn't necessarily mean hotter. There are things like atmospheric properties and other variables that have to be accounted for ;-)

The pressures on Venus result in hotter temperatures when you average the whole planet. Remember Mercury has one side that is cold as -blam!- not facing any of the Suns radiation. Also this is the future, if we have terraformed Venus to the point where it has gravity and organic life on the surface, then why is it so weird for Mercury to be in a similar situation.
