Why MERCURY isn't in the Game
Guys,
Mercury can't be in the game because it's the hottest planet in the solar system. It basically touches the Sun's CMEs and we would all be dead immediately due to radiation and heat. Why do people want to go to a molten rock and fight the vex? These things blow my mind.
Why do people keep saying VENUS is hotter than Mercury? You guys need to learn the order of the planets.

There's a multiplayer map located on mercury and you don't die on that. It's a game so there will be a reason like the vex have a protective atmosphere so they don't melt or what not.

The temp is total RNG you can't know which is hotter and because Mercury randomly appears in crucible we all know then that it is in the game, its just rng and we have to keep playing Roc strikes till it comes up

Because space magic isn't a thing in this game and the traveller couldn't have done anything about that, not to mention the PvP map we have from it and how Venus I hotter and yet people lived there...

Also, Venus has a more dense atmosphere (96% Carbon Dioxide), which traps the heat absorbed from the sun, causing surface temperatures to reach over 460 degrees Celsius. Furthermore, Mercury is a Crucible map Get gud scrub That is all.

Venus has a thicker atmosphere trapping the heat. It is hotter even though it isn't as close to the sun.

1 ReplyVenus is hotter than mercury. Go look it up. Basically Venus is a worst case scenario for global warming. The atmosphere retains heat. Where as mercury has little to no heat retention due to lack of atmosphere. Yes mercury is closer to the sun. Also go play crucible there is a map on mercury.
