Why MERCURY isn't in the Game
Guys,
Mercury can't be in the game because it's the hottest planet in the solar system. It basically touches the Sun's CMEs and we would all be dead immediately due to radiation and heat. Why do people want to go to a molten rock and fight the vex? These things blow my mind.
Why do people keep saying VENUS is hotter than Mercury? You guys need to learn the order of the planets.

14 RepliesI hope this is a troll. Venus is hotter because it's atmosphere is out of control greenhouse effect while mercury basically has no atmosphere. As for the lore of this game the traveler terraformed mercury into a garden world prior to vex invasion.

You really don't know nothing about science , you probably failed that class when in highschool lol Venus is way hotter then Mercury, reason because Mercury is airless world, not unlike the moon. Venus, has a very thick atmosphere of CO2, which adds incredible pressure and traps in the heat. (Therefore even if Venus is farther away , Venus is the hottest planet in the solar system

This just in op still sucking dick no end in sight.. here's another fact the planet's in our present time are not the same as the ones in destinies time frame, setting as Venus abd mars have trees and vegetation that should not be there, and also the fact that Venus should be raining sulfuric acid 24/7 meaning our gear literally allows us to visit these planets without worry, now shut up and play the game, as it's just that.. a game

5 RepliesThe traveler has the ability to artificially increase the moon's gravity to match that of earth, if it can change the gravitational constant of a moon or planet then it would have the ability to move one.

It's also a vex planet so they could've changed some shit. But whoever is saying Venus is hotter than Mercury is a damn fool. Edit: turns out I'm the damn fool, thanks ubn for providing facts, Venus is about 35 kelvin hotter than Mercury due to its atmosphere trapping the solar heat.
