Exotic Maker. Perk Maker. Sublcass Maker

Edit 7/25: For people having trouble with ideas, here's two themes that may help. Theme #1 Class specific exotics: in the taken king, we're suppose to be getting some. Let's see what you guys can come up with. Theme #2 Toxotics: this is basically an exotic with an amazing perk but it is also hurts you somehow. Not really doing a competition because I'm very inconsistent. Edit 7/24: Glad to see we're getting some traffic going again. I've decided to change what this forum is about. I want it to be a creation outlet for everyone to share their ideas, not just for exotic gear. Hopefully you guys like the change. I'll try and include some examples. Edit 6/11: Wow, I'm surprised that people actually want this forum to stay alive. I'm sorry for being silent for so long so I've responded to a couple of posts. I'll try and respond to anyone else that adds something. Also I'm going to look for the list of exotics that I have from the last competition. I'll post it when I find it. In pve, they take aggro from enemies. In pvp they show up on the radar as enemies.[/spoiler] Striker [spoiler]Name: Rulers Helm Type: Titan helmet Description: When faced against the will of a king, one must ask, "How do I repent?" Design: Golden helm with a crown melted into the top. Attributes: Intellect Upgrades: Grenades give more super energy, killing minions of the darkness grant more super energy Exotic Upgrade: Monarch's Wrath- Fist of havoc does more damage and kills with your super grant the titan an armor of light that lasts 5 seconds.[/spoiler] Void walker [spoiler]Name: Abyss Gravity Type: warlock helm Description: Return to me... Design: a grey warlock helm with small void particles surrounding it. Attributes: Intellect, discipline Upgrades: melee hits replenish grenade energy, more super energy from genade kills Exotic Upgrade: Abyss Gravity- vortex grenades and nova bomb have an increased radius for their damaging fields. They also have a strong singularity effect that pulls people in its radius to the the center. Design: Navy blue pants with large golden wings on the outer left and right side of the feet. Attributes: Discipline Upgrades: heavy ammo, speed reload primaries Exotic upgrade: Flight-extends the duration of angel of light. Grants a speed boost and better control while airborne.[/spoiler] Defender [spoiler]Name: Dynamo Luminescent Type: Titan chest Description: Bring forth the light. Design: A dark blue armor piece with an orb of light inside the chest and two small ones on both shoulders. Attributes: Intellect, Discipline Upgrades: bonus special ammo, reload speed for pulse rifles Exotic upgrade: Light Giver-Gift of light(orb gens with force barrier kills), gift of the void(damage to ward dawn gens orbs), and iron harvest(chance for orbs with heavy kills) are free perks. Design: bullets up and down the sleeves with grenades around the shoulder Attributes: Discipline Upgrades:orbs replenish health, melee replenishes grenade energy Exotic upgrade: Specialist- Doubles the amount of clusters from Swarm and Skip grenades.     What about a weapon that does solar damage during the daytime cycle on the planet and void damage during the nighttime cycle on the planet or a weapon that does kinetic damage but if you shoot someone using a void, arc, or solar weapon it will deal that kind of damage Edit: read the ogreland17's better and descriptive idea for this weapon in the replies

      Type: Exotic Titan Chest "Captain Kirk" Description: "Shields up" Design: Gleaming white, with blue glowing trim Attributes: Increase force barrier and ward of dawn duration Initial Upgrades: longer duration Exotic Upgrade: after taking damage, gain a shield that absorbs 100% of the next damage from the SAME weapon/melee. 75% of third hit, 50% of fourth hit, 25% of 5th, then vulnerable again. For example, you get hit with a Hobgoblin sniper, your next sniper hit would be completely deflected, then you'd only feel 25% of the third, half the fourth, etc...during this time any damage from any other enemy, or a Hobgoblin melee, would count as normal. Once you've been hit 5 times (including the first) by the same attack, it resets and then say you got melee'd by a Goblin, it would deflect a proportion of Goblin melee damage (only), for the next 4 hits.

Design: Black base with purple mag and pieces with 'SUROS' glowing in purple, and little void particles coming from the barrel. Attributes: High intellect, and a bit of discipline Initial Upgrades: Single Point Sling - Switch weapons faster. Move quicker while aiming. Field Scout - Maximum ammo capacity. Armor-Piercing Rounds - These bullets penetrate through enemy shields. Exotic Upgrades: Fit For a King - When reloading when the mag is empty and under fire, you either heal automatically, or your grenades and melee charge regenerates.

      Type: Exotic Hand Cannon- "Howl of The Wolf" Description: They say its bark is worse than its bite. This one is an exception. Design: The gun is primarily made of silver and has an engraving of a wolf and the full moon on each side of the gun. The revolving mechanism has ornate carvings on it. Finally the grip is made of ebony wood with a pearl crescent moon inlay on it. Upgrades: Field Scout, Send It, and Explosive Rounds Mag Size: 10 Special Ability: One With The Wolf- This weapon becomes more powerful with each kill and each round has a small chance for an instant kill after the first kill is gained.(The damage buff stops increasing after 3 kills and only goes away when you die. Also when an instant kill happens the gun makes a howling noise like a wolf.) Edit: Added initial upgrades and mag size

          • Well. All I can say is that if the gunslinger juster helmet were introduced that would be soooooo OP in PvE. You'd basically never have to worry about enemies because they're always attacking a fake. Imagine the thrall maze...? OP

            • I have got one more. Storm Lord Cuirass: Exotic Titan Chest(Striker) Description: "We will reclaim what we we have lost with the force of a thousand lightning bolts". Design: Look up the Storm Lord Armor Mod for Skyrim. I would like it to look somewhat like this but different. Perks: Auto Rifle Ammo and Heavy Weapon Ammo. Exotic Perk: Power Of The Storms- Increased duration of Striker abilities and increases the range of the Shockwave ability for Fist Of Havoc

            • Long Distance Relationship Description: someone always gets hurt on the other end. Exotic sniper rifle. This rifle is a heavy weapon. Perk1: one random shot does considerable more damage. Perk tree: increase stability +2 agility Over penetration bullets. Exotic perk: every shot counts as critical no matter where hit on target occurs. Sniper has NLB animation for chambering bullets. 3 bullets in mag 6 reserve. Slow reload and high impact.

It takes a Patriarch's Flag to rule that army.[/i] Design: A black, slender pulse rifle with a long barrel and brass grips with a flag with the symbol of a patriarch (picture soon to be attached) on the side and a blood-stained scope which looks antique. Upgrades: Third eye, Full auto, Four Round burst Exotic upgrade (A true Patriarch): Each precision kill increases bullets per burst up to seven, without consuming additional ammo. Stays max until death. Kills grant additional magazine storage (+21 max, 3 each) until death. I'll have the picture soon!

                  Name: Graviton Flux Type: Exotic Heavy; Particle Beam Description: it's a particle beam heavy (think Mass Effect Collector Particle Beam or Halo Spartan Laser). Regens ammo charge every 3 minutes. Unleashes a massive beam/current of raw energy in a continuous direct flow. Has a ten second duration, extremely hefty recoil, and can delve out 6k damage a second, for a total of 60k total maximum over 10 seconds, per enemy in contact. Travels into and through any and all enemies in it's path. Design: shaped similar to a rocket launcher, wielded like a machine gun. Design inspiration from Tesla Energy Weapons from Fallout. Aquired: via ultra rare drop in Cabal hard raid final boss. Goal: be more coveted and powerful then Gjallarhorn. More rare to aquire then Vex Mythoclast or Necrochasm. Potential Perks: Melt (enemies killed melt and puddle residue left will harm enemies for a short time). Gravity (enemies within one foot of the beam get pulled into contact with the beam) Granulation (enemies briefly touched by beam who don't die will have skin granulate, causing damage over time and firefly if killed by DOT granulation).

                    • I've got another one: Exotic warlock void walker gauntlets THE CREATOR (place holder name) -each melee hit increases your progress towards your grenade -more special ammo n stuff THE CREATOR The vortex grenade, and vortex nova bomb's effect last twice as long, and each time an enemy is damaged inside the vortex, you and team mates around you get healed the amount of damaged done.                       • There needs to be a particle beam heavy exotic. Remember the particle beams? Mass Effect had one, and maybe Halo did, too. You charge it up and unleash a straight laser beam of intense, ultra-powerful and rapid energy in a continuous flow until either ammo is depleted or the cool down takes effect. The one from Mass Effect was called the Collector Particle Beam. It would obliterate big and tough enemies but strictly limited ammo. Destiny needs this weapon as a heavy. More specifically, and exotic heavy.

                          The Paladin (auto rifle) "Burn away the dark with holy fire" Initial stats similar to Galahad E, but deals solar damage and has a higher impact. Clip size 25 Initial perk -crowd control 2nd tree ~high caliber ~snapshot ~custom optics Exotic perk -holy light PvE- Bullets have a 15% chance of causing blindness, like the titan flash bang grenade, but for a shorter duration. PvP- 5% chance for total blindness, 10% chance to disable hud Both- shooting allies charges their grenades and melee abilities Sights are scooped (focused lens FLS2) Solid matte black. A solid, mean looking gun. Rays of fire or light sometimes shine through the chamber/barrel Rounds fired from the gun would have dynamic lighting, ie light up a room and cast shadows Would have a bounty (like bad juju, etc...) to go along with it, and that would be the only way to get it Let me know shat you guys think!                           • I like this topic, so I'll imagine another exotic Warlock boot set. Name- the Messenger of the Gods Type- Warlock boots - Sunslinger. Artwork- the Boots would be entirely engulfed in flames, like the Sunbreaker gauntlets. Except there would be a star flare emanating from each boot to form fiery bird wings. (Winged sandals of Hermes, which were given to him by Apollo) Text - "It's pointless to shoot the messenger, when the message is death." Tier 1 - Heavy ammo capacity Tier 2 - Upgrade Armour Tier 3 - Free Angel of Light perk. Increased hover time, and reload time while in the Angel of Light hold.
