Exotic Maker. Perk Maker. Sublcass Maker

Edit 7/25: For people having trouble with ideas, here's two themes that may help. Theme #1 Class specific exotics: in the taken king, we're suppose to be getting some. Let's see what you guys can come up with. Theme #2 Toxotics: this is basically an exotic with an amazing perk but it is also hurts you somehow. Not really doing a competition because I'm very inconsistent. Edit 7/24: Glad to see we're getting some traffic going again. I've decided to change what this forum is about. I want it to be a creation outlet for everyone to share their ideas, not just for exotic gear. Hopefully you guys like the change. I'll try and include some examples. Edit 6/11: Wow, I'm surprised that people actually want this forum to stay alive. I'm sorry for being silent for so long so I've responded to a couple of posts. I'll try and respond to anyone else that adds something. Also I'm going to look for the list of exotics that I have from the last competition. I'll post it when I find it. Design: a normal hunter helmet with a white smiling mask surrounds the front of the helmet. Attributes: Strength Upgrades: melee attack speed, orbs regen melee energy Exotic upgrade: Dancing Joker- the gunslingers throwing knife leaves a dancing after image of the guardian on the spot that it is thrown and lasts 8 seconds. In pve, they take aggro from enemies. In pvp they show up on the radar as enemies.[/spoiler] Striker [spoiler]Name: Rulers Helm Type: Titan helmet Description: When faced against the will of a king, one must ask, "How do I repent?" Design: Golden helm with a crown melted into the top. Attributes: Intellect Upgrades: Grenades give more super energy, killing minions of the darkness grant more super energy Exotic Upgrade: Monarch's Wrath- Fist of havoc does more damage and kills with your super grant the titan an armor of light that lasts 5 seconds.[/spoiler] Void walker [spoiler]Name: Abyss Gravity Type: warlock helm Description: Return to me... Design: a grey warlock helm with small void particles surrounding it. Attributes: Intellect, discipline Upgrades: melee hits replenish grenade energy, more super energy from genade kills Exotic Upgrade: Abyss Gravity- vortex grenades and nova bomb have an increased radius for their damaging fields. They also have a strong singularity effect that pulls people in its radius to the the center. [/spoiler] Sun singer [spoiler]Name: Flight of Hermes Type: Warlock boots Description: True freedom is only known to the sky's. Design: Navy blue pants with large golden wings on the outer left and right side of the feet. Attributes: Discipline Upgrades: heavy ammo, speed reload primaries Exotic upgrade: Flight-extends the duration of angel of light. Grants a speed boost and better control while airborne.[/spoiler] Defender [spoiler]Name: Dynamo Luminescent Type: Titan chest Description: Bring forth the light. Design: A dark blue armor piece with an orb of light inside the chest and two small ones on both shoulders. Attributes: Intellect, Discipline Upgrades: bonus special ammo, reload speed for pulse rifles Exotic upgrade: Light Giver-Gift of light(orb gens with force barrier kills), gift of the void(damage to ward dawn gens orbs), and iron harvest(chance for orbs with heavy kills) are free perks. Design: bullets up and down the sleeves with grenades around the shoulder Attributes: Discipline Upgrades:orbs replenish health, melee replenishes grenade energy Exotic upgrade: Specialist- Doubles the amount of clusters from Swarm and Skip grenades. The visor is reflective, iridescent, blue. Exotic perk: watching: guns all have a second level of zoom accessed by pressing both stocks in at once, doubles the amount of normal zoom.

  • Name: Revengeance Type: Auto rifle Description: Can you hear the whispers?.... Those are the spirits seeking revenge. Design: Similar to a regular auto rifle it glows with an erie golden light... Attribute: Solar Perk 1: Crowd control.. Perk 2:Options: perfect balance, send it, and speed reload. Exotic perk: Revengeance- for every kill in a single magazine the damage in the next magazine is increased to a limit of 5 extra damage kills.   • Name: What Time Is It? Type: Heavy/Sniper Description:You Sir... Never existed... Design: A really long sniper rifle - Massive Scope - Bipod - (Makes your toon go prone on aim) Attributes: Sniper rifle that sits in Heavy Weopon Slot - Arc Damage Initial Upgrades: Wolf Pack rounds (That cause no dmg - Just look good!) Exotic Upgrade: Roots the target to the spot in a Vex time bubble for 30 seconds - Target cannot attack or be attacked from outside during this time. Inside the bubble mini oracles spawn and must be melee killed by the target or they end up having themselves teleported to atheon for a slap round the chops ;)

      Exotic sniper Name: Tank Buster Description: this weapon is a sniper used long ago, feared by many, and now, many may fear again. Look: 50. Cal sniper with dessert camouflage Perks: scopes(with a halo scope :D) last round damage up single point sling perfect balance field scout exotic perk damage ups Exotic perk: fires explosive rounds on impact with hard surfaces (such as titans) and armor piercing rounds (goes through titan bubbles and such) the two rounds are able to switch can NOT have both rounds at same time like murmur Hopefully thus goes well take time to tell what to change please. [/i] Exotic scout rifle Black with green strands of code running down the side of it (matrix-ish) Exotic perk: does extra damage to machines (vex, vehicles, etc) [b]Slayer[/b] [i]Who needs technology to kill their enemies? I prefer to do it myself, up close and personal. [/i] Exotic hand cannon Red with black veins of what looks like stone coiled around the barrel. Exotic perk: does extra damage to organic enemies (hive, fallen, cabal, and other guardians)

            Novus Projection [spoiler] --Description-- The darkness seeps from this weapon, permeating the user's body. Only a select few can use it without succumbing to its effects. --Type-- Scout Rifle --Attributes-- -Low rate of fire -High Power -High Stability -15 Bullets in the Magazine -Void Damage --Initial Perks-- -1st- Explosive Rounds -2nd- Perfect Balance Perk Send It Tree Scout Mag -3rd- Shattered Rounds (Can shoot 1-3 rounds upon firing) --Exotic Perk-- -Shadow Projection- The rounds from this weapon can be charged, fully charged rounds explode upon impact, Anything within the radius is slowed and blinded for 1 second. (Rounds take 1.2 seconds to charge) (The explosion is Grey and Black colored) --Design-- A basic scout rifle frame that is tinged with a dark aura. The barrel is thick at the start, and has a deep purple ring around it. The mag is thick, and has 3 symbols carved into the side. Mulligan Scout Mag -3rd- Anti-Shock Frame (Highly reduced recoil) --Exotic Perk-- -Piercing Bolt- (Solar) A single bolt is fired instead of many, this bolt is much larger, faster, and more accurate. This bolt will attain precision damage if it hits center mass or the head. -Refracting Bolt- (Arc) Three bolts are fired. If a bolt contacts an enemy, two split off and bounce off of all surfaces 5 times. When enemies take precision damage, they take increased damage (1.25x) for 8 seconds. --Design-- Resembles an elongated Icebreaker with white and blue coloring.             • Lucia Exotic secondary hand cannon Description:it's just a nickname. Her real name's Jennifer. 29 round magazine,full auto,with fire rate similar to Do Gooder. Perk:when airborne, maintain perfect accuracy. Damage is low, recoil is low enough to be used with a skilled hand. Mostly vertical climb. Gun has perfect balance and field scout. Either have no recoil or have some recoil and a 45 round magazine. Reload is also very fast, and the gun is shot either one handed with faster ADS, switch, and sprint speed, or with two hands and reduced recoil. Void damage. Gun sounds like a USP.45 from MW2.

            • Raven's SLAMcannon Hand Cannon Firing this weapon may cause injury to hand, arm, elbow, shoulder. Black Chamber, Bright red frame that appears to be on fire. For the sights.. think thorn, but more fire themed, and perhaps a little easier to use. Firing this weapon causes little flames to shoot out of the sides of the gun to look like bird wings. Attributes Rate of fire - 30 Impact - 80 Range - 50 Stability - 40 Reload - 42 Magazine 10 Upgrades Perfect Balance Send it High caliber rounds Exotic upgrade Raven's Rocket Precision kills cause enemies to explode in a fiery supernova, subsequent precision kills increase blast radius. (Solar Damage) This is to mean that a head shot gives you a buff "Raven's light" 10 sec, stacks up to 10 times. Reloading will remove buff. So a headshot completed in the time frame increases the stack therefore the blast radius. Now considering the strength of a weapon like this I would recommend this be acquired via upgrading some other weapon, and using a mat. that's a rare drop from a powerful enemy (a lot like the necrochasm) I would find this both fun and extremely rewarding

                This is a bit weird that I'm commenting on my own forum but I had a couple exotics in mind. Well they are more about the abilities. I haven't came up with any concepts yet. Sungsinger - A vampiric ability with the sunsingers burn damage. It turns burn damage from their abilities into health for them. The amount of damage they do in burn damage is equal to the amount of health they regain. It would be good in pvp if you manage to burn up to 3 people at the same time and it would let the sunsinger's super be a bit more tanky. It would be amazing in pve because of the amount of enemies that you'd be able to burn. Bladedancer - Someone else on this forum inspired this exotic. All of their arc damaging grenades trigger and emp effect upon detonation and stops shield regen temporarily. The emp effect would be the disabling of the hud including the map for players in pvp. That also means that enemy players won't be able to see the names of their team mates either. I feel like the concept would be something like a saboteur which fits the rogue type of class anyways. Defender - Another person inspired this exotic except it's sort of the reverse of this idea. The ability would be that your death does not destroy your shield. It will disappear when either the timer runs out or someone else pops the bubble with a super. This would be awesome for pvp because this would allow you to safely run around the map without worrying about dying because you know that you can still give your team support. This could also mean that you can die and still respawn and use your shield while it's still active. I imagine the concept behind this would be an unbreaking resolve or something along those lines. Aesthetic: clip glows a vibrant white as that of molten iron, the barrel has a few cracks that exude a fiery glow, sights are iron sights with the center reticle the same molten iron color as the magazine. Bullets fired leave a trail of black smoke

Exotic perk: hunger: killing enemies with this weapon increases its damage for the mission, death resets this progress.

This may seem OP but with the right mag size, you would need to land all the shots to take advAntage of the ability if any were missed you would miss out due to having to reload.

              • Type: warlock boots Name: molten sun striders Desc: I'm walking on sunshine!!! Attributes: intellect strength Perks: faster melee, more super energy from melee kills Exotic perk: molten sun- performing a melee while in mid-air causes you to pound the ground dealing small AoE (acts as your melee, no melee charge no ground pound) Aesthetic: boots that release steam with every step and have a fiery molten glow shining from the soles, pants are soot stained and burnt in different areas.

                  Dancing Death-Machine Gun "Dance with me." Design-The front has a Chinese dragon looked head on it and the guns body is scaled and the tail curls to form the handle. Bullets fired sparkle and fizz like rockets. When firing the dragons head opens and sparks fly out, when not firing the head closes and exhales steam like Dragons Breath. Mag-40 Low rate of fire, decent reload, high impact and high accuracy and range Crowd Control Maximum Ammo Hammer Forged High Impact Rounds Dragons Dance-When enemies are killed ammo fills the mag from the remaining clip.

                  • Timeline; Fusion Rifle [i]"We can only learn from our past mistakes"[/i] Ability: Blast from the Past- On a successful hit, target will be marked. When firing this weapon at a marked target, weapon will require no charge time. Ability is kinda raw not really sure how it would work, but i suspect the idea cld be build upon.

Go to it, [u]my child[/u]." Design: A Warlock Bond made of some kind of black dark mist or fog, mixed with Void energy. It leaves a trail when it moves. Does not consist of tangible materials, it being literally a black smoke cloud thing attached to your arm. Attributes: Upgrades require motes of light. Initial Upgrades: Increase duration of vortex effects on Vortex Grenade and Nova Bomb. Grenade kills reduce your super cool down. Exotic Upgrade: [i]Pathway to Nothing[/i]. Binds to L1 + R1. Lose yourself in the Void and unleash it upon this world, become the Void. (Replaces Nova Bomb. Create a Vortex around you that is wider than the Vortex ability on Nova Bomb and lasts longer. Your basic melee ability now deals damage in an area rather than to a single enemy, and your shoulder charge will lunge you farther. Enemies who get too close to you will start to take damage. Your allies are dying and the mission is failing. Within the heat of the moment, you think that the best option is to give your team a chance to recuperate. (Summon a massive bubble where the movement speed everything is slowed down. Your enemies move slowly, and their fire power also travels slower. In PvP, rounds that are fired have a small lag time for them to hit, and your movement speed is reduced. Allies within the bubble are unaffected.) [Armor of Light: Same Ability, reduced effectiveness. Blessing of Light: Same Ability, reduced effectiveness. Weapons of Light: Same Ability, reduced effectiveness.] There you have it, alternate supers for each subclass. Also, the "Mother" is the Darkness, and if you Role Play with these class items, then she is the one who created you, not the Traveler.
