I used it during Crota's End last night for Shriekers, Ir Yut (who dropped me another Dragon's Breath), and Crota. Its surprisingly effective, and still viable against Crota if you're a good shot.

It's crazy on crota the flare makes him move to much. Then everyone else misses their rockets
