It's wasted on a gun in a video game bc trigger pull and hand movement doesn't affect the virtual guns movement.
That... would be false! The perk has it's (arguably fairly limited) uses. Just like in real life, guns in Destiny require you to pull the R2/RT analog button nearly all the way for your virtual gun to fire. Most handcannons offer a prime example of this as you can actually see the cork pulling back when you gently pull the trigger. MIDA's perk simply ensure the weapon fires at the slightest pull of the trigger. Try it out. I might be wrong, but I think Bungie simulated the gain in réaction time and accuracy by boosting target aquisition.

Yes but the purpose of a hair trigger is to reduce the movement of the finger and transference of that movement to the gun. There is zero transference of movement with a controller so yeah it fires with less pull but that doesn't really help anything. Btw I'm not hating on mida it's my second favorite gun in the game but the exotic perk is only exotic for the speed. I couldn't care less about hair trigger.
