There is no point to hair trigger if it doesn't fire any faster

It does fire faster, but not last word fast. It improves reaction time basically. If you and someone else start pulling the trigger at the same time you will shoot them first because they had to pull the trigger all the way.

This is true. I guess I just wish it meant that I can fire it faster lol

It's already the second fastest firing scout (behind b-line and crypt dweller) and its does way more damage and had better knock back than either of them
