Nah man that's from either having a very poor quality plasma or one from YEARS ago. And for all the doubters. Plasma technology has been putting out the overall best pictures for a TV for a long time. The tech is dying for other reasons. NOT because LED or LCD panels are better. Lol not by a long shot

    Not true. I had a 6 month old Samsung F8500 (pretty much the best plasma you can still buy these days) and experienced burn in. Ultimately got rid of it for a new 4K set and haven't had any problems since. The OP is right to warn plasma owners...they need to be extra careful when playing Destiny. P.S. The F8500 had a better picture overall. I miss it.

  • Will that's unfortunate but that shouldn't be the case. I have an LG plasma and frequently have played 10+ hrs with no hint of burn in

  • Yeah...I have an older Panasonic with 1000s of video game hours on it and no issues. I still won't play Destiny on it.
