Technically speaking its exotic perk is Thunderer, but it literally does nothing besides make it fire full auto. Very much an Arc Invective with worse stats and perks.

Exactly, and Full Auto on a shotgun is also not an exotic perk so my point still stands. I recall seeing things on DestinyDB about how it was supposed to fire all 4 barrels at once. Instead it is just an Invective -1 like you said.
