If you think about it. If you get one person to replicate this and sacrifice them selves you can practically trap crota on one place.

No you can't. He'll just glitch his way back up to the bridge with a teleport.

They would patch that the next day, but they would still allow Crota to jump off and wipe everyone. Anything to hinders player and drag out content :)
