Fair enough! British humour, some of the best and driest humour in the world. I am biased though!
-
it's also not hobbled by political correctness, or any of the silly stuff in american humor, like being reliant on bodily functions... it's a very refreshing change...if it wasn't for the whole gun thing, and the PM being a tw*t, i'd probably move to the UK..

My missus and I do share a love of Friends so US humour does have good points! Most people in the UK are glad about the (relative) lack of guns. BUT! You will still find pubs that still have shooting ranges. The general election in May should prove interesting...

Edited by SnakeDoc518: 1/27/2015 11:04:50 PMFriends? lol, worst show ever made, if you ask me...then again, i detest most "sitcoms"....hell, i hate TV in general...VERY difficult to separate the garbage from the decent stuff..and then the decent stuff gets canceled, because nobody wants to use their brain anymore, so it gets replaced with another f**king tallent competition reality show.... netflix is my best friend....i can get most of the best shit from here, and all the really great shit you lot over there, make......while the BBC does, from time to time, cancel decent shows, it happens far less than over here....or at least it would appear that way from where i sit..

I'd have to disagree about the Friends thing. Top show. But yes, lots of rubbish on television. If you want a thoroughly non PC comedy, have a look at The IT crowd. Very funny, especially if you work in IT. Unfortunately, the Netflix we get is nowhere near as good as the US or Canada I'm told.

i've seen that floating around netflix..if it's still there, i'll add it to the queue.. i'm gonna send you a PM, matey, as i'm enjoying this convo, but it's totally off topic, lol

Your carry on!
