OP, we must be soulmates. This is my absolute favorite thing to do in any video game. Another great way to make friends with the opposing team is to drive up to their base in a warthog and spam the horn. If any of them are chill, they'll hop in the turret and you can drive them around to where your teammates are spawning! X'D

The enemy teams typically shoot you on sight so I've only ever don't it once. I was a jockey and jumped into the safe room just before they shut the door. I ran they started shooting at me but stop once they seen I wasn't attacking. We just sat in the safe room chilling while my teammates were asking why weren't they killing me. Fortunately the game won't end if there's a zombie in the safe room with the survivors.[spoiler]also soul mates sounds kinda gay lol[/spoiler]
