Why would the furthest planet from the Sun not be covered in ice and look like a desert? Space Magic? These things confuse me
-
Oh man........please stop playing video games and read more books asap! Mercury, Venus, earth, mars.....4th planet. Also known as "the red planet".

Public school systems finest here folks!

This is a troll post, right? Not somebody unaware that we actually know what the surface Mars looks like?
-
I'm surprised no one has said, "I don't have time to explain why I don't have time to explain" yet.

Oh dear....oh goodness....

No molten core so no magnetic shield. Sun vaporizes the atmosphere with radiation. No, no atmosphere aka, weather, rain etc, no snow and furthermore no white planet. Huge science nerd.

Your right to vote should be revoked for life.

Actually Pluto is the furthest. Was rather, it was demoted to a planetoid. Mars is known as the Red Planet for a reason. derp.

Are you being serious? This sounds more like a question my 9yo son would come out with
-
Furthest planet from the sun... Mars... Ok. Chalk up another resounding success story to the Department of Education.
-
Dude do ur astronomy classes again mars in real life is redish-brown and so is the one in Destiny, all planet's in the game are based on real life on the outside, inside The planet's are different stories

It does look like a desert....you know, all that red sand. There also has to be water for there to be ice chief.
-
By that logic wouldn't Jupiter be a big ball of iced gas?
-
This checks out.

Mars is not the furthest planet from the sun Neptune is. (Pluto is not considered a planet anymore). However mars is the furthest terrestrial planet from the sun. The other planets past mars are all gas giants. The desert look on Mars is the iron oxide in the air.

Edited by Raymonator: 1/27/2015 8:42:23 PMWhile you are correct that Mars is cold it does still require moisture to freeze and Mars has been dry longer than we've waited for increased vault space.

Take that science hash tag off this post immediately. Don't you dare associate your brain diarrhea with science!!!
