Why would the furthest planet from the Sun not be covered in ice and look like a desert? Space Magic? These things confuse me

Edited by Kone19ps: 1/27/2015 9:21:07 PMWhite doesn't mean cold, mars is furthest in the inner solar system, and ice requires water. Feast you troll
-
Guys, stop wasting your time. OP initially posted this with #bait, but edited it out. He's trolling.
-
Mars appears red because of Iron Oxide. Rust. Like Earth, Mars is made up of a lot of iron.
-
Woah dude that's racist
Why would the furthest planet from the Sun not be covered in ice and look like a desert? Space Magic? These things confuse me
Wow.

I'm sorry but your an idiot..

Edited by RandalTheVandal: 1/27/2015 10:40:11 PMno water on Mars. no water=no ice Edit: ice water

Lmao. What the... How can... LMAO Wait, this poster could actually be in charge of something/someone someday...maybe already is. [shudders]. Oh, bleep me!
-
Really hoping you're just a troll and not a moron, but Mars is fourth from the sun. Mercury Venus Earth Mars Jupiter Saturn Uranus Neptune
-
Satire correct? Otherwise my brain just melted...
-
Furthest planet from the sun.... Aside from how to mooch off society and having kids before you start puberty, what are kids being taught in school these days
-
-
For it to be covered in ice it would need to be covered in water. Since the only planet to have large amounts of water on it is earth, it would be hard to have the solid form of water on other planets. Also the atmosphere of a planet is a big factor in its climate. There are lots of reasons.
-
Mars isn't the furthest planet from the sun? Are you trying to troll I honestly can't tell.
-
Space pixies! *nods*
-
Dude it's not the farthest planet from the Sun. Check your astronomy dude. -.-
-
I really hope for your own sake that you're just trolling.

Edited by SnakeDoc518: 1/27/2015 8:51:26 PMO,o what the actual f**k? mars isn't the furthest planet from the sun. while it's theorized that mars, at one time, had liquid water, and possibly even life, it currently has no protective magnetic field like the earth does...scientists suspect that it did, at one time, but that it collapsed, allowing solar wind to slowly strip away the atmosphere. this loss of atmosphere would have caused liquid water to evaporate away into space, leaving only the solid ice at the poles, intact. the sand is the color it is, because of the high iron content. these things most likely confuse you, because you slept through every science class you ever had in school....
-
THATS RACIST!
-
You know it's not actually that cold on Mars. This is due to the fact that it doesn't have a molten liquid core like earth and so doesn't have a large magnetic field surrounding it that protects it from lots of radiation like earth has. It's also red because basically it's rusted.
-
Maybe he meant the furthest of the inner planets.
-
That's a whole lot of stupid crammed into a few short sentences
-
Ha ahahaaahahahhahaahagaahahaaaa. Oh my god hahahaahahahaaaaaaaaa. Ahhhh....... Wow...................
