Star wars was in the past, so therefore to fight the halo people they would have to wait until the future. With time comes better stuff. Theoretically from that perspective star wars would win

I assume we're debating about the current universes so your argument is invalid.
-
This is a better argument than any of the fools trying to get complex about comparisons between celestials and precursors
-
Yeah, time travel doesn't exist. Therefore starwars has thousands of years to evolve prior to the fight.
-
But star wars has lightspeed, and assuming Einstein knew his shit, that would allow star wars to travel forward in time, albeit slowly I guess.
-
But time is relative. So therefore halo would stay put while starwars advances or vice versa.

Edited by DCRevolutionary: 1/26/2015 7:49:25 PMIf the whole star wars universe had to put everything on hold to travel forward in time and do battle with halo universe, how would they continue to advance? Interesting. *strokes beard
-
They wouldn't put things on hold they would continue to advance until time matched up
-
... You've lost me. Would every character not be in the confines of a starship in order to travel at light speed?
-
Okay. I'll explain. Halo is based off humanity in the late 26th century. Star wars is in the late 3000 BC ( proof is in lost arc Indiana Jones R2 D2 and C3PO are hieroglyphs.) It would take Star wars 5.6 thousand years to ascend to the same year as Halo. Therefore their tech gets that many years to evolve. Star wars does not get effected by realitivity ( they warp drive and nothing happens) so therefore travel to halo galaxy would not change years.
-
The technology doesn't evolve on its own as time passes, so how does that make sense
-
Intelligence evolves, discovery evolves. Humans make technology and with time comes new technology. Thats what I meant.
-
But to get to the hypothetical battle everyone has to be in a light speed capable craft. What star wars' scientists could accomplish in that state would be limited, and they'd end up with about the same tech as we know from the movies. Right?
-
Or wait.... Are the forerunners star wars' humans Mind blown...
-
That crazy moment when you realize you created the halo universe.
-
they knew it. Hail hydra.
"Snake, you've created a time paradox!"
-
O_0 Too much... I need to take a nap.
-
Star wars has speed that is more advanced than light speed. The entire point I'm making is that star wars would crush halo due to the technological superiority if they both arrived in the same time.
-
Okay. It would be a lot easier for you guys to make your point that star wars would win if Disney hadn't come along and dumped on the past 30 years of lore. So much sympathy.
How wet
wtf?

^ Disregard the word wet... I truly have no idea how that got there.
