The halo Forerunners created the 7 Halo Rings, which thus could destroy over hundreds of galaxies killing all life. They leave behind there successors the humans and created many other life forms such as the elites, hunters, flood, etc. Halo would wipe out all life in the Star Wars universe as Chief has found the librarian and can destroy a whole covenant armada single handedly. Star Wars has no match as far as you go into detail and that's just that.

Yes "after" as in the forerunners could end it right there killing all life and billions of years later those seeds of life they planted to succeed will finish those droids off like a group of Spartan mowing down 100 elites.
