If Spartans weigh 2 tons why don't they crush the ground when they jump 10ft in the air? Or why don't they crush vehicles once they board them.
I don't know about you, but a mongoose does not look like it can support 2000 pounds.

SPARTAN-IIs in GEN1 MJOLNIR weigh approximately 1,000 pounds. UNSC vehicles are quite sturdy and surprisingly resilient.

Actually, Spartan-II's such as 117 equipped with Mjolnir armor weigh in at half a ton, or 1,000 Lbs. One ton is 2,000. Lbs.
