Give me the forerunner abbreviations of all 7 halos. For example: 04: Alpha Halo, 05: Delta Halo, 03: Gamma Halo.

The names given to the Halos by Humanity, "Alpha Halo" and so on, is based off the order they were found, since Alpha is usually used to indicate the first of something, and Installation 04 is not the first in anything other than in its discovery.
-
But delta halo was the second ring to be discovered. Shouldn't that make it Beta halo?

Here: Halopedia has the information you want: http://www.halopedia.org/Halo_Array

We don't know the other ones for sure.
-
What determines what order the halos are placed in?
-
What sequence they were fired in.
-
Distance from the Ark, as well. 1 was the closest, 7 was the farthest. It might be the inverse, actually.
-
I'm referring to their designations. Their installation numbers we don't really know yet what it means. Presumably the sequence they were built in.
-
Therefore by proxy their distance from the Ark.
-
Not necessarily.

Halo Encyclopedia (most recent edition) is my source.

What page?
-
Page 174. It is the reverse, Installation 01 is the farthest from the Ark.

The ones where they talk about the Halo Array. I'll add it in once I find them.
