In my opinion, Bungie is listening - they honestly just need to dedicate more resources to the Bungie & Destiny forums.
To me, it's a bit weird that Deej and Destiny Staff et al replies to messages more often on Reddit & Twitter than on their own forums.
I really think that Bungie is demonstrating a lack of knowledge on how important communication is, and establishing a regular presence on the forums. Honestly, how often does the Community see Deej, Ninja, Mentor or Moderator create, and reply to what the Community feels is a serious matter?
Regardless if Bungie/Activision calls Destiny a MMORPG, what they categorize it as really doesn't matter anymore; this is due to the fact that a good chunk of the Community has MMO experience, and if the vocal Community treats it as an MMO (expecting targeted feedback), it essentially becomes an MMO.
Bottom Line: Bungie/Activision needs to dedicate more resources to Communication. To creating more of a positive presence on these forums. If Bungie doesn't do this, and do this soon, I predict that the game will crash, or at the least become less profitable before the 10 year mark. Active Communication is incredibly important, and more Bungie representatives need to populate the forums.
This is just my perspective on the matter, based on life experiences; I welcome any feedback. :-)
