Great post Nox!
I have been a RPG fan forever. Give me a game I can get lost in, immerse myself in. Add to that developers that listen to and react to the wants and needs of the fans? Good business.
Can I add to your short list?
FF14 ARR does that. It's a MMO that crossed platforms and cross gen. Your wants and needs in that game are addressed and answered by GMs and sometimes the producer himself Yoshi. A monthly letter from him is a plus.
We have been here. We have seen the posts, the requests, the suggestions. It's falling on deaf ears.
This game needs a reworking the way FF14 did.
Take it back. Add the stories, about us, about the battles, about the enemies. Give us missions that tell a story, that add to the plot.
Give us a game economy that works.
Give us a LFG tool in the game.
Give us clan tools in the game.
Then release it with fanfare. I would be waiting.
The way it is? I'm out after I play out my pass.
Hell, I think I'm done till HoW drops. It's getting old real fast. I have DAI, Far Cry, and FF14 ARR waiting. I'm good.
I hope they do something. This is not working for me.

Bungie has messed the launch of this franchise beyond recognition. That's sad because this game had such promise... But, Bungie has only themselves to blame. There's far too many good games launching in the next six months, they need to realize that if they don't shift course, their player base will plummet.
