I think there will be no new game modes before Destiny 2.
It will allways be the same like Queens Wrath, IB and TDB. A vendor will appear in the Tower and nothing else. Maybe some new locations, which are allready on disc, will be opened up.
And some new, going backward fighting same endboss with different shields, strikes.
And really esential things like shaders and surf boards will be added!
