I highly doubt she wasn't helping with the bills first off. Second off he's very much the toxic one for agreeing to live under the same roof then play video games all day like he's a middle schooler. If he tried to spend time with her and she wanted him to stop gaming period then sure. But devote all the time you have out of work on a virtual character is absurd.

In going by what the OP said, you can speculate that she helped out but these types of relationships are not uncommon. The man wanted to play his video games with the little free time he had. Free time as in time where he wasn't at work and he wasn't doing anything with his gf. Quit being a white knight because chicks think it's weird. Fedoras aren't cool either.
