Great that you like the Tom Hardy movie about the real 'Charles Bronson' but I bet the real guy loved the actor. Who wouldn't? Charles Bronson, the British criminal's real name was Michael Gordon Peterson. His fight promoter had him change his name to Charles Bronson to present him as 'a tough guy'. Michael Gordon Peterson later changed his name to Charles Salvador because he admired Salvador Dali, a painter. Kept the 'Charles', though. Had to keep his image somewhat tough.
