I have seen a lot of comments like this in this thread. I didn't read the OP say he is going to be celibate. He didn't pick video games over all women either as far as i can tell. If you knew anything you would see that Destiny is insignificant here. The OP chose to not be controlled. Plain and simple.

If you can clearly see, you'd see he clearly states that he chose games over the girl, asked her to leave the house, oh and most of all "I'd choose video games over her"

Video games could be replaced by any hobby. Video games are the variable here.
