Thanks for the ADVICE! Goodbye to my Young Girlfriend!!

So, I am back.. As you may have read about my situation already about having to make a decision between Gaming and my Girlfriend... To refresh your memory or if you may not know yet, I had to make a decision to either be with my girlfriend or stop grinding Destiny (Full story here http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/93198637/0/0) Today I decided to let her leave my house as I couldn't take drama any more, she asks me to cut back time on Destiny which I feel I'll be losing out... I work full time and use all my time to play because just like everybody else I want Icebreakers, MIDA Tools and Fatebringers! So to me it seemed selfish of her to ask me to stop playing so much to spend time with her.... As I work hard at work everyday and bring home money, rent and putting food on the table she should show a little more respect and gratitude towards me. It seems as if she takes me for granted and wants more and more from me. So I've decided to let her go because no way in hell would I give up my gaming for her.. Ungrateful woman I must say but anyway I do want to thank you people for all the advice on my other thread! It really helped. Good riddance to her.

  • I see a lot of people hard biased one way or another. I had a very similar situation. My girl wanted me to stop gaming. I tool care of her son like my own. I worked my ass of usually 7 days a week and paid for almost everything. I loved her very much. I do love her very much but her neediness was too much. She wanted me sitting on the couch watching reruns of teen mom. Sorry but no. She came home one day and gave me the ultimatum. You should never give someone you love an ultimatum. You should never remove their choice. I let her go. It was hard but I refuse to live that way. I'm a grown ass man and will not be forced into anything. Had I quit gaming I would have just resented the shit out of her. It wasn't about balance. She wanted power. I'm not the one
