IT'S OVERRATED
I've fully leveled obsidian mind and tested it out. It's a great helmet for sure, but only on the first look. I don't know about you guys, but all I do in this game besides pvp is nightfall, weekly and raids. The main goals during all those pve activities are to survive and help out teammates.
The second life on a sunsiger is just too good. Obsidian mind can clear out mobs, but I can do that too with my solar granades during my super as a sunsinger. My claws of ahamkara are much more useful. If you know how, you can become a tank and stay alive forever.
In the end obsidian mind is just a mob clearer and will force you into taking greater risks, nothing really good for nightfalls or hard raids.
Oh and by the way, that Bad Juju combo is so retarded. I tested it as well. Sure my super gets up pretty fast, but would I ever use bad juju over ice breaker or gjallarhorn on the raid or the nightfall?! Hell no.

Actually sun singers are better vs bosses. A crap load of fusion grenades does more than one nova bomb, me thinks

True but if you don't use it then your dps is nothing. Also with this nova bomb setup you can spam the nova bomb as well.

Nightfall and hard raid=sunslinger but everything else I'll be ising obsidian mind simple cause it's 100000000x more fun than waiting to sled rez and throw three grenades

well you are right that it is a mob clearer combo and of course I will prefer my sunsinger in hard raid or nightfall. but obsidian mind/bad juju is the best to use for "normal" actvities like bounties and roc strikes. and i do them a lot to level my gear.

I was soloing crota with my raid helmet and mid-high intellect and had a lot of trouble getting my super back in time for a second blade before he moved to the right, tried with my obsidian mind build which is still only 31 for now but has maxed intellect and more super from killing ennemies, and all of a sudden the timing was perfect, my super was up just like I needed it. Small changes can make big differences sometimes, the obsidian mind helmet but still using sunsinger on crota and that was all I needed. Depends on the situation I guess... Also, it may end up being good in the hard raid cause we still don't know what they are adding as a mechanic. But if you are soloing something, the helm really helps to get your radiant skin back quickly

I can't wait for a void buff nightfall gonna kill so many mobs and makes so many orbs shits gonna be crazy I'd really like to get a hole team of void bros running the om juju combo, enemies won't know which way to go

Yes the helmet is over rated but the juju is way underrated i use all the time for my sunsinger I'm literally in radiance more than I'm not
