I think newer guardians deserve to have their hands on it..I (a veteran day 1 player) have 3 Icebreakers and they almost get no play whatsoever.. Its recoil(albeit slightly controllable) is crazy, its ammo regen rate is slooow and heavy exotics or even primaries are better to slot. As well, special ammo is cheap to buy from gunsmith, i know heavy is cheap from xur(1 strng coin) but if you can stock up on special ammo and just worry about finding purple pez candies laying around youll be better off...black hammer, queens sniper and even p n t seem better to me. Its not needed to fight crota(people who even worry about boomers are scrubs) and is of no value in weekly or nightfall activities..its only purpose is as backup ammo when you completely run dry on special ammo, but even then true guardians should always have a low level shoot to loot weapon in their arsenal...

Whatever you want to say, i take down the swordbearer there quicker(right when he spawns) and can easily take down crota from bottom middle..if your raid party stays left or right and worries about boomers(which arent a big deal at 32), then you my friend are a right or left side only, raid only how youtubers raid, kind of noob.. Boomers, bahaha....

Doing left my party can get 3 swords but hey i dont worry bout boomers 1 shot to the face and they die

Very true. I have played both ways, and i prefer everyone down in middle. This way(it shouldn't happen with a good group) if anybody gets hurt bad chalice is close, and relic holder can easily take it back while swordbearer is being taken down before he strikes crota. There should be plenty of orbs about if you stay in that area and super enemies or use weapons/armor that have specs for orb generation, and time is spent only on swordbearers and crota himself. im not trying to argue or negate any bit of your case, just telling you the way it works best for myself and everybody I've showed this way to.

Its preference man. I tried both and prefer left i gen orbs on my titan from punching dummies who walk into my bubble
